How a project runs
Nine steps, every project
- 01OnboardingYou send a message, Richard replies himself, and we find out whether we can help. One point of contact, plain English, and no sales sequence afterwards.
- 02DiscoveryEight questions answered by asking rather than assuming, plus who holds your domain, DNS, hosting and email. It ends as one page in your own words, which you read back and correct.
- 03ProposalAn honest assessment of what you have, measured rather than guessed, and one recommendation with the reasoning, delivered as a small private website. Richard sets the terms with you directly.
- 04MoodboardYour logo and real colours first, then your sector, then boards of references with every image linked to where it came from. Richard picks a direction in words before anything is drawn.
- 05Design systemEvery colour, size and spacing value decided once and shown on a kit page with the alternatives side by side. Richard says "lock it in", and after that nothing in the build is freehand.
- 06MockTwo or three sections a round, hero first, each one built from the locked kit and checked against it before you see it. Three rounds on one section means we stop and ask a different question.
- 07Staged buildA written plan with a rollback line, then the build phase by phase on a staging site you can open. Every phase is proven before the next, and a second set of eyes reviews the code.
- 08DeliveryLaunch proof as a visitor on a real phone, Lighthouse 90+ and 100/100/100, manual accessibility checks, forms watched delivering, security headers, and a rehearsed rollback before DNS changes.
- 09OffboardingWhen you leave, our access goes and yours stays. Credentials revoked or handed over, backups handed over, hosting and domain confirmed as yours. If you stay, this step is Care instead.
