Why Earls Barton
Earls Barton is the village next door. Three miles along the A45 from our office, it is the first place you reach heading towards Northampton, and close enough that we treat it as part of home. It is a big village with a proper square, a Saxon church tower that people cross the country to see, and a shoe factory that has never left, which puts it in the same story as most of the towns around us.
We go there because it is on the way to nearly everything, and because a village this size has more businesses than you would guess: the shoe trade, builders and trades on the industrial estate, shops on the square and a lot of people running a business from the house.
How we work with businesses here
If you are in Earls Barton, the first meeting is easy: we will come to you, or you can come to the office in Wellingborough, by appointment. Either way it is ten minutes in the car. We like to see how a business runs before we write the brief. After that the work goes online: the design shared as a link, changes sent by email and turned around the same day, and the monthly looking-after done from the office.

Stand on the square and look at the tower, then go inside. Barker’s factory shop is worth a look if you wear proper shoes. Summer Leys is the flat walk at the bottom of the hill, and Sywell is two miles the other way for the aerodrome, the reservoir and a coffee at the country park.
